I had never heard of Winslow Salon in Kirkland, WA prior to my first appointment. I decided to part ways with my long time hair stylist, then did some research on another salon to start going to in my area. I knew I wanted to go somewhere that used better quality products and also offered better hours for my work schedule. When I came across The Winslow Salon, the first thing I researched was the products they used, including hair color, and their hours. Both were very appealing to me. So I called and was able to book an appointment for the same week! I was really wanting to get my hair fixed, as I was not happy with the color I had recently gotten done with my prior hair stylist.. For my appointment, I was booked with Jenica! She was absolutely fantastic! The first thing I noticed about her was how detail orientated she was. She cared very much about making sure we get the color I was wanting. I had a lot of orange/red in my hair that I was wanting to get rid of as much as possible. She provided great suggestions and was very honest with me! When we went to dry my hair she was very honest in pointing out that there seemed to still be some red in my hair, but wasn’t sure if it was just the lighting or not, so we went outside in natural lighting, and it just ended up being the lighting in the building. Jenica did such an amazing job, and styled my hair better than I could ever do! Aside from her incredible knowledge when it comes to hair, Jenica is also super friendly, warm, and a lot of fun to talk with! Which I feel is important to connect well with the person you’re entrusting your hair to! The Winslow Salon itself also has a very inviting vibe and many of the other hair dressers chatted with me and made me feel welcome! I highly recommend Jenica, and the Winslow Salon in general! I am so so happy I found them!

Just had my long curly hair cut into a short, stylish do! Fabulous. Ashley is a Michangelo with scissors and a razor. 150 FB likes and 40 comments to the affirmation of her artistic and technical abilities! Wow!
