I am rating this salon as a 1 star due to the inability to take care of their customer after something goes wrong. I went in a for a pedicure on Saturday and the polish didn’t last over an hr . I couldn’t go back that day because they were already closed. I went in on Monday to get the polish redone, I arrived at roughly 6:35..6:40. And they said my work shoes (that I wore two days after the pedicure) was the cause for the polish to mess up . So all they could do is polish on top of the polish (which at this point is bumpy ) they would not remove the polish and reapply unless I paid for it. When I expressed multiple times that they should take care of their customer better and they were losing a regular client (who spends $50+ each time) to a polish change they finally said maybe if I come when they’re not close they’ll do it . I left at 6:50 business closes at 7. So they were still open . I understand it was late but a polish takes less than 5 min which would’ve still given them 15-20 min til closing time. Never giving them my business again. Very disappointing, horrible customer service.

As a nail tech I strictly do not recommend this place one bit. First thing first there was no price chart I ask for the price chart for pedicures seeing what packages they offer every salon has one or at least I thought they did. I'm pretty sure it was the owner who worked on me so I'm thinking okay since it's the owner I won't get rushed on. I was very wrong. She told me there three different types of pedicures I said ok can I see the chart or a brochure or something so I can see what each one comes with what she say we have regular 25 with scrub 28 and deluxe 35 so without asking me what I want she went ahead and did the 28. I didn't care too much. But I did got shellac on my toes which was an extra 15 and I expect it to be done right. My shellac was polish on so horribly is was overlapping to my cuticles around my skin. Then at the end of it all trying to make herself look better she told me she didn't charge me for take off. If you charge 15 for shellac and you charge an additional take off that's absolutely ripping people off I've worked in so my different salons and if you charge as much as 15 for shellac on top you don't charge take off period. Don't go here. I mean you can but you gotta be a mean person and making sure you get what you want because evan the owner doesn't do the job right.

They were really nice, prices were fair, and the quality was great. I got a pedicure and my daughter also got a pedicure and solar nails. Both came out great and her nails looked so pretty. It's not as nice as some of the upper class salons but I will return because I enjoyed the service and quality :)

I have a Gift Certificate, which expires on 12/22/2015. I scheduled an appointment for this morning at 10AM. When I got there, I was told that the business had been sold/transferred and was under new management. Therefore, they could not honor the Gift Certificate because of lack of required information. Granted, they had neglected to include a receipt number and the amount of the gift when the Certificate was purchased. Then they told me that they needed proof of the amount. I came home, got the credit card charge and went back and still they would not honor the Gift Certificate because they could not find a record in their system. Now, how is it my problem that they neglected to record the issuance of a Gift Certificate? Should this not be perhaps included in the outstanding debts when previous owner transferred the business? When I got back home, the second time by the way, I called Elegant Nails and Skin Care and asked to speak to the Manager or to the new owner. The Manager, Amy, will not be there until Tuesday of next week and they do not know the name of the new owner as he/she has never visited the site ...this according to what I was told by an employee. Now, and back tot he Gift Certificate, it has a date of issuance, authorizing initials, expiration date and what it should cover (i.e., pedicure, manicure, plus 1 hour facial). Will have to call Amy on Tuesday and see what she has to say. Will keep you posted. In the meantime, I would suggest that you refrain from purchasing a Gift Certificate there. New client? I don't think so!
