This used to be my go to nail salon, however I will not be back for a few different reasons.
1- Since ownership changed the quality of the manicures and pedicures has not been the same. They used to be flawless and now they leave much to be desired.
2- At my last visit I noticed that the equipment and tools are not being sterilized between clients. Watched as the cheesegrater that was just used on the previous client was rinsed off in the dirty pedicure bath and then placed back in the drawer...then the water was drained and refilled for the next customer. No cleaning or sanitizing took place between clients. Absolutely disgusting.
3- I took my 12 year old daughter in for a manicure and pedicure before a wedding. Her and I had 4 staff members working on our nails. Meanwhile they asked questions and then proceeded to make jokes amongst themselves in their native language. As they laughed more and more one of the women looked up and said "Oh she say she so tall" and gestured toward my daughter. Then all 4 of them burst out laughing and couldn't seem to stop. They left my 12 year old feeling uncomfortable and insecure. It was obvious that she was the butt of their jokes to her and I and they didn't seem to care. I am appalled and find it incredibly rude and unprofessional. Shame on these four women for bullying a child for their own personal entertainment especially a paying customer. They ruined my daughter's Mommy daughter spa day.
4 - They're always asking for the tip in cash. Pay your taxes like everyone else people!!!!

Quick service. I got a gel manicure that came complete with a mini massage it was really relaxing. Large selection of gel colors, and quiet environment. * update* my manicure lasted about 4 days before chipping off. maybe the quick service was not a good thing.

Today I walked into alderwood nails and asked for a Chelac mainucure and she had me look at the colors until she ripped them out of my hand and randomly picked my color for me until I said something. Then my lady barely spoke English so she filed my nails so short and coffin shaped til they hurt instead of staying round like I asked and Long so I told her and she said ok next time and I said no I want my other hand long and round and she looked at me like I was crazy for wanting two different nail shapes let’s just say I’m next coming back!.

My two different edges of finger skin had been cut and bled out twice from my experiences. My finger was bleeding out but that lady still tried to put the nail polish over my bleeding area, which was truly unbelievable...

Great experience. I walked in 30 minutes to close while I waited for my take out order from next door. I got the gel manicure. It was quick and looks great and the technician was very friendly.
