I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago on a Friday afternoon and I was the only person in the salon - that should’ve been enough of a warning sign but I stayed for a solar full set and pedi. There’s no pricing listed on the website so I I called ahead to inquire about pricing and I was overcharged. When I asked why it was more than I was quoted, they explained it was $5 for length and $5 for shape. I had an almond shape but regular length, so the long upcharge was bogus. $5 isn’t a big deal, but it felt very dishonest. Then again I’ve had pricing discrepancies at every nails of America I’ve visited ...
The shape was ok, but not uniform from nail to nail. The man doing the mani burned my cuticles at least 4 times and the girl doing my pedicure did the same thing with a traditional file. My solar nails were so thin, one cracked after 6 days and broke on the 8th day. 4 nails on my right hand broke before 2 weeks. My nails grow slowly and I’m not hard on them so normally I can go up to 4 weeks between fills. My pedi had a chip 2 days in. The salon is also outdated and dingy. If you’re going to be overcharged, go to the location by H-E-B.
So, to sum it up - dingy salon, pricing discrepancies, rough with your skin, chipped polish and broken, thin solar nails. All for the bargain price of $77. I’ll never go back and I’m done with Nails of America in general.

Terrible. I was a walk in on a weekday when there was only one other customer so it really wasn't busy. There were several technicians who were not busy and I was assigned to an older man. This was for a set of acrylic nails. I asked for them to be short and natural looking. The man was very rough almost cutting my skin a couple times. Once I even cried out and the man didn't acknowledge that he had hurt me. He was very unfriendly and insolent. The finished nails were not good. My husband said they were very unnatural and he didn't like them. I will not gPo back here again. I've already been in the process of trying to remove these nails.

I usually get my nails done every two weeks at another nearby Nails of America, but I was running short on time and decided to try these guys out since I was already in the area. I was a "walk-in" and I understand that's not always the best situation. I normally call ahead and get a prefered tech at the other location, so out of fairness I am giving three stars instead of two. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He gave me a discount on what I thought was already a good price, and the salon was decently clean overall. Although it appeared the nail clippers and cuticle cutter were not from a clean-pack or sanitized. Hopefully they were clean! The tech I was given to was an older man who was not wearing any official apron or uniform of any sort. I thought maybe he was just helping out to start the water and get me set up, but he ended up doing the whole pedicure. I asked for a pillow for my back because I just had surgery, but he did not give me one. He tried to show me how to operate the massage chair instead, which was not what I needed. He was a bit rough and had sharp fingernails that kept cutting into my own skin. As a result, I did not enjoy the pedicure which was supposed to be a relaxing treat. I paid extra for a deluxe, but the massage portion was way too quick. I've had much longer massages during a regular pedicure. The callus buffing was painful and cut my foot, and the cuticle trimming cut my toes in several places. The nail polish was gunky and got rubbed off at the tip of my big toenails before I left. Overall, he was just way too rough, and I would not return.

Had Shellac today with Niki and it was great as usual. She gives special attention and today I got a arm and neck rub GREAT
