Very nice staff members! Made us feel very welcomed. They did a great job on our nails and we loved the music. I recommend this place to everyone!

I went had my nails filled in about a week ago. I normally go to a different nail shop on 4th ave but they are closed for remodeling. A day after my fill in my right thumb nail cracked on the side . Two days after that the left thumb nail cracked and today the gel polish I got peeled off the right thumb and the right middle finger. Please don’t waste your money

don’t get me wrong: GREAT PEOPLE OWN THIS FACILITY. Let me start there. But, I don’t go to get my nails done often and i expect decent quality. The customer service was there, but the nail service was not. It took an hour to get a gel manicure, which i don’t mind if it’s done correctly. but, i feel like the tech who did my nails barely knew how to even paint nails evenly. the coats were much too thin, even after 3 coats of color. Some places are streaky or see through from not using enough polish, and my nails were already weak and splitting but she filed them too thin because they're bendy. As a hairdresser i understand the chemistry of gel polish and that if the coats are too thick- it wont cure properly. but, if i had the supplies to do my nails i would have- rather than going to get them done. it’s been two days, one day of doing hair (dry only) and my nails are already chipping. i’m not doing any extensive activities like cleaning or washing dishes or anything in water, so there is no reason why this should be happening. i called and talked to the owner and told him and he said they could fix it, but i’m flying out of the state and have to leave my house at 7am tomorrow morning, and i have appointments this afternoon as well as having to pack and print out a boarding pass. i don’t have another hour out of my day to get my nails done again & by the time i come back it'll be too late for the offer to fix my nails. i understand the no refund policy to an extent, but i should've at least been offered a credit with them for a later date. My nails were 35$ to just get gel polish. that’s 5-10$ more than it generally costs. i just wanted to treat myself and get my nails before i go across the country basically, and this is what i got. i’m extremely displeased. i generally don’t leave bad reviews, but there was lack of concern for my issue. yes, this is a first world problem and i’ll be okay. but, as much as i love supporting independently owned local businesses- i can’t support this one.
