Needed a negative star. Julie was very rude! She double booked our appointment. Took the other client first (who had only booked a couple days ago and ours was 2 weeks ago ). She also showed up a half hour late and didn't apologize. She didn't really want to do my nails but said she would. She had also made a few rude comments about us coming in. We walked out. There's other places in the area that also charge $25 for the set

I would have to say that the experience was unlike any other. First off there is a sign that says that pedicures are $25 and solar nails are $20. I had to wait a bit...because the man thought he had an appointment coming in so I was serviced by Julie. Let me address this as well I am African American normally it would not make a difference but when you are reminded of that during your visit it makes it awkward. I requested a full set solar nail. Remember there is a special ($20). Conversation was pretty great, she was complimenting and all. I asked if there was a price difference for shaping my nails a specific way there was not a comment. OK?! Next during the conversation she asked me where I was from...my husband was working outage and that is when she said oh I had 3 other customers left who had husbands working the outage and one was "colored" like you. Mmm that was a bit disturbing that particular way of expressing a customer and then saying it directly to a African American person was a bit uncomfortable. She went on to talk about how small minded the people if the town were to other races...?!? Anyways she shaped my nails in a pointed round way...instead of admitting she couldn't do it she did it and messed it up! I had to go home and reshape them myself. The most agitating part was when it was time to pay I was waiting for her to tell me the price. She starts calculating in her head and is like $28. I assumed maybe she had thought since I was "colored" she assumed I would not tip so I was okay with paying but I still left a tip! I was mislead about pricing and if I knew I would have been charged $8 for shaping my nails a specific way. I darn sure would have got them square. My nails are sloppy like I say I had to come home and fix them and they look nothing like what I requested. I would not recommend because prices are misleading or maybe they are only like that for "colored" outage employees wives.
