My mother and I always go to Loann. She is so amazing doing nails. I can say she is the BEST person who has ever done my nails. I could get a fill every 3 weeks without my nails lifting at all! Yes the prices are high but to get her its worth the price because they last! :)

I have not ever had such a negative nail shop experience in my life. I called to schedule an appt for a color change due to having work. I was told because it wasn't a color change I couldn't schedule an appt and my service would be $7. I get to the shop and when I walk in a lady says, "you wanted the pedi color change Right?" I say yes. She says, "well it's $7 and we only take cash". I laughed at first because I didn't understand the rude attitude since it was my first time there and I also hadn't heard of not taking cards in a nail shop. I stated, "oh I just called and wasn't told that on the phone, is there any stores that have cash back because I didn't bring cash"? The lady same lady says, "use our ATM machine". For some reason the machine wouldn't read my Chase debit card, I assume because I have a chip. I say I need cash and will be right back. Although I felt my experience was less than inviting, I got cash and returned less than 15mins later. The youngest woman working inside gave me a nasty look and said, "we're busy. We can't help you." At this point I clearly understood I was not welcome and had no clue what was going on. Still kind, I asked why I couldn't get help since I just left to get cash. The lady said, "because you didn't make an appointment and so you need to wait at least 20-30mins." To hurry the story along I was not asked if I wanted to wait, I was simply told I could not be helped. I asked who owned the nail shop because I wanted to complain of my experience. The lady I spoke with the 1st time I entered came from the wax room and said I could wait if I wanted but the other customers were priority. I finally asked, "what is the problem with me? I don't know any of you so why am I being treated so badly? I do tip well if that's the concern." The young woman said, "nobody wants to service someone like you." I thankfully didn't get angry at what was at that point an obvious discrimination issue. I smiled and told her, "people like me meaning people who pay your bills to do my feet or what do you mean?" I turned back to the other woman and said, "I'd like to have my color changed, I do not mind waiting, please have someone other than her assist me. Unless there is a problem with accommodating people like me." I sat and waited 25mins. I was not serviced, I was not spoken to, and I finally left. It almost amazed me to experience such a thing, but ultimately it hurt my feelings and made me feel bad for all the employees there, and the 2 customers who also said nothing when witnessing such an awful thing. What a shame.

I love this place! Loann is awesome! I have high standards, and she always comes through. Tweetie and Yessenia are great too! Not only are my nails beautiful, but I always have a fun time! 😁👍
