First off, I went here in June and had the worst nail salon experience ever—and that tops a time that another place had cut me and then it got infected. I came to this salon at noontime with a friend who reccommended it, there wasn’t a huge line and I was seen first for a French manicure and pedicure. The employee who first attended to my pedicure and manicure apparently had never done a French before, which I tried to be patient with. I requested that my cuticles not be cut because of a previous incident in which I was cut (mentioned above). After 10 minutes of asking around to other employees to translate what I wanted, the person attending to me still didn’t understand what I was asking for, so she didn’t even file my nails so she went straight on to painting them. It took her 3 tries to do the French pedicure. And to top it off I did not ask for a gel specifically because my dermatologist told me never to get a gel. Well, she used top coat as a bottom coat and gel—which didn’t set in because she obviously didn’t use the light to set it. By this point I had been sitting in the chair for 2 hours and people around me were getting french pedicures with no problem. I tried speaking up but the lady kept repeating “I’ll fix it”. Me, being too nice to say anything, gave her the benefit of the doubt. She gave up and went on to do my manicure. Then, she proceeded to cut my nails she asked if I wanted them “short” I said yes, but she tried cutting a broken nail that SHOULD NOT have been cut only filed. I was so disgusted I looked around for someone who could help. At that point she asked me to pay now. I should have refused but I asked how much it was and she spoke with several people (shouting) across the room and settled on $50. I paid begrudgingly. When she painted my finger nails she tried twice to do the french, realized it didn’t look anything like it and said “I’ll fix it” so she called over the employee that had just finished attending to my friend. This employee was clearly upset at the work that was done on my finger nails and took over, doing them in 2 minutes, unlike the 20 minutes I had spent getting them done by the previous person. I thanked her for fixing them and sat down at the drying station. I sat at the drying station for a solid 30 minutes and my toe nails still had not dried. I called over the employee that fixed my nails and she hurriedly got me back in the chair and spent the time redoing my pedicure. (We got there at 12 and it is now 4). By the time all of that was over she apologized for my experience. I am a generous person who believes in second chances but after this experience I wouldn’t return here. The NEXT day (not even 24 hours later) my finger nail polish was chipping off. And so did part of the pedicure. I should have gone back but I never had a receipt given to me to prove I was there. By day 3 all of the nail polish half-way down had cracked and was off. I had the HARDEST time removing the polish. I realized that they didn’t use normal polish, they used gel. Which was why it didn’t come off easily. I finally got the gel polish off of my toenails, only to find out that the polish has ruined my nails and made them brittle and spotted. I read it’s going to take 3 to 6 months for my nails to grow out enough for the damage from the gel polish (that I DID NOT ASK FOR, and REQUESTED “NO GEL”) to disappear. I’m sure other customers are having better experiences here. But I read the reviews listed here and was eager to try it out. I am only listing my review here so that others understand that not every employee here is trained for every service and that they should ask first before being serviced. I do not blame the employee for her lack of knowledge, I blame the manager who I asked what I wanted (a regular french manicure/pedicure) they asked if I wanted gel and I said no, and then assigned that employee to attend to me.

Very nice salon. They have a large pallet of colors to choose from as well as the cat eye and chrome nail finishes. The pedicure and manicure were awesome. While I was getting my manicure they had a gentleman coming around giving shoulder and neck massages. He is gifted at massage. I wish I lived near here because I would definitely become a regular.

Gel manicure and pedicure. Very clean place, which is most important. Some things vary based on who you get. This time the hand message was left off but the neck message felt a little longer. Sometimes the end tips of the nail are covered with polish, which looks better. This past time, after only two days, the polish on 1 nail, of my gel manicure chipped off, which is unusual. I know if I had gone back, they would have fixed it, but no time.

Nails didnt last a week, and I burned myself on a lightbulb in the nail dry machine. Cozy place though.
