We love Kiddie Academy of Arlington Heights! My children have been attending since they were babies and we have had such a positive experience. The teachers are so nurturing while providing a structured learning environment. They take pictures and videos throughout the day and send home lots of art projects. They also have an on-site chef that serves delicious meal options. The administration has been so great and they really go above and beyond to make sure our family needs are being met. It’s hard being a working mom but it’s so reassuring to know that Kiddie Academy is taking such great care of my kiddos.

My daughter feels safe and happy there. They do a great job with making all the kids comfortable and they are welcoming and always seem attentive to the kids. I’ve never picked up my daughter and seen them on their phone or chatting with each other for example. They are always engaged with all the children.

I had high hopes about kiddie academy but I was extremly disappointed with the care that was provided to my toddler also to other kids. Since we've started my son's items were missing most were found except one shirt. I also found other kids' shirts in his little cubby often times. Stuff getting lost was not concerning to me and I didn't even care if they found his missing items. But with time since these incidents were happining everyday I started to question whether the teachers were paying any attention to kids or what was going on in the classroom. Aside from this I noticed my son had a red spot near his eye almost looking like it was bruced, I didn't receieve an accident report let alone none of the teachers knew what happened. After this incident I kept getting accident reports. I acknowledge that kids fall or get into accidents and I was not mainly worried about that, I was concerned because thinking of my son getting hurt and nobody caring about him or comforting him. The reason I started to think and believe that is also based upon my observations. When I went to drop off or pick up my son I noticed kids would fall or cry for some reason and nobody would pick them up. Kids would look at at me while crying almost asking/begging me to pick them up to give them the comfort they need. As a mom seeing a child like this is a terrible feeling. My son was new to kindercare facility; therefore, we needed little more attention until he got used to it. I would ask his teacher to hold him so I could leave because he wouldn't want to let me go. His teacher mostly would come after I called her name. This told me that the kids are not staffs priority even though that should be the most important thing. One other time I dropped him off again and went to management's office to mention my concerns while I was watching my son from the camera. He was making a crying sound and going after his teacher and she was just walking around cleaning tables instead of picking him up to comfort him first. Manager started to notice my worry and went to the classroom to hold my son to comfort him. Another terrible scene for a mother to see that you are leaving your kids to strangers who doesn't care about kids at all. Our last day when I went to pick him up his teacher didn't greet or talked to me. His last diaper change was so messey because he still had poop between his legs. Also his water bottle was so discusting as I think the water has been sitting in the container probably for couple of weeks as the color was almost greenish. Most of the time I noticed and also warned management about hygine of the kids since their face was always so dirty (I could see food particules, mucus running into their mouth) all they said was sorry and they will fix it. Next day samething happened again. I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone I know.

Overall I like the place, its clean, but way too much turnover over on the staff. Everyday I get a notice that someone is leaving....

I love the teachers and staff. My son learned a lot and I felt at ease dropping him off every morning. He has made major connections there and I wish we didn't have to leave. I would highly recommend this school to any and every parent!
