My daughter wanted her toe nails painted so I walked into the salon to ask what the price would be. I was told $5.00 since that is the price a nail color change. I walked in with my eleven year old daughter to have her natural toe nails painted with regular nail polish. I was told this would take 10 minutes. My daughter was done in 5 minutes. I paid $5.00 for the nail service. All of a sudden three workers got real loud and said "no, no its $10.00!" "$5.00 is for babies!" The last thing I am going to do is get loud about $5.00 with my kid there. I hope $5.00 is worth losing as much business as this review costs them. $5.00 is the standard charge for a nail polish change. If there is an age requirement for services that should be stated up front. And not make the customer pay for your inability to correctly state your salons prices. I am never returning. I know it was just to get additional money. There paint job looks as good as any two year old can do at home.

I almost always go to 88 nails and spa for my pedicures. This last time I went the woman dug into my toe unnecessarily to get "dead skin". Ever since my appointment (which was about a week ago) I've had the most atrocious pain in the same toe that she dug into and it's been getting worse everyday. I took a look at it this morning and it extremely infected and there is a plus pocket that I dont know how to deal with. Definitely going to find another place to go to because I really dont want this to happen again.

Please do not have your nails done at this place, they don’t stand by there work and treat you like a number/money and not like a client.
I spent 67.00 ( with tip) to have a peticure and manecure ( shellacked ) done for a special Lake Tahoe family vacation,. Within 3 days they were cracked and peeling and so embarrassing.
When I got home 7 days later and showed them, there response was I should of called them when I was in Lake Tahoe, then never spoke English to me again. Then said they would fix them but have to pay full price, total unacceptable, poor service and don’t care or stand by the work.
Beware!
Go to Happy spa in Oregon city, you will be happy and treated with respect

Jeanne did an Excellent job on my Mani-Pedi, with French Tips!
Her English is Excellent, as well.
And, She did not pressure me into Full Pedi, when I asked for a Color Change, only.
