The most unprofessional and shoddy business I've EVER dealt with! This salon isn't open evenings or on Sun. and since I work Mon-Fri 8a-5p, it took me awhile to get a hair appt. on a Sat. But I finally got one and I canceled something I had that morning so I could make the appt. A week before the appt. I rec'd a call from the salon, wanting to confirm the appt. and we went over what services I wanted. Today, 3 days before my hair appt, I get a call from the SAME woman at the salon saying she needs to reschedule me since they "double booked" my time slot! I asked why she didn't realize this when they confirmed with me. No answer. I then told her I had canceled something that morning so I could make the hair appt. No response. I inquired whether I or the other client had the appt. first, since I had mine for a month, and after some discussion she admitted that I was being "bumped" for a "regular" client. I told her in that case I felt the stylist should accommodate me by coming in a little early that morning or staying late the night before but the woman said no, that I just needed to book at a future time. I explained that I needed my hair done THAT Sat. for an event I had that evening and how hard it had been for me to make an appt. She said the only thing she could do was to see if there was another stylist available. I told her if there was, then they should HONOR (a word they're obviously unfamiliar with) MY appt. and put their "regular" client with the other stylist. She said they wouldn't do that, so I told her never mind because I no longer want to do business with an establishment that operates in such an UNethical manner anyway. I have never made a report on a company before, but I feel it's my duty in order to prevent this from happening to someone else.
