Andy for the toes, 10/10 that’s it.

Great finish product! First time I ever got my nails done at a nail shop and loved them. Normally stay away from nail salons, but they gave me what I wanted. I wanted to give a higher review, but like other nail shops it’s always the speaking over me in another language. Context clues are easy to pick up on. As well as body language, staring while doing it After saying something in another language, all the nail techs came over looking “admiring the style”. Guys wear nails too. It’s 2021, let’s normalize males that wear nails. Any length. Any color. Other than that I’ll return (when in the city). 🤷🏾‍♂️I recommend.

I’ve been going to Tara Nails for about 8 months and must say that the lash service provided by Trish is great and the location is incredibly convenient. However, the owner/manager however has proven to be more focused on $$ than the customer experience. I was recently informed that I needed to reschedule my appointment due to one or more employees having Covid. However, my standard price (3 week fill) would not be honored as I would be coming past 3 weeks. In today’s environment, I understand the need to be flexible with scheduling. Yet, in today’s economy, businesses should value their customers more than ever (especially for non essential services) and not penalize them for changes they facilitate. I will not be returning, but hope that they change their focus if the wish to remain in business.

In my opinion, going to the salon is a luxury and so it should feel like a luxury experience. I live in the area, so I have been here on several occasions. Every time I leave this place, I never feel luxurious or relaxed, but somehow cheated. In my opinion, the price point is extremely high in comparison to other salons in the area. They do good work, but nothing outside of what I've got from other salons. I think that the experience should be a lot better because the prices are much higher. They are really nice people, the salon is in a convenient location, and I rarely have to wait, but I just think that they could up the quality of service for the price point. And, just to give you guys an idea, I paid $43 for a fill in and a color change. At that price, I could've got a whole new set of nails.

I have been to this salon on several occasions and I live in the area as well as one other client had stated. I agree with the lack of experience. The prices are extremely high for such a mediocre experience especially in Atlanta where you can receive a high experience in just about any area given the right establishment. I sat and wait for 15 minutes. I wanted to get some cardio in which I didn’t mind so I walked instead because as I mentioned, I live in the area. I am an African American woman. A white woman walked in after I had been waiting for 15 minutes and stated she wanted a pedicure which is the exact same service I was waiting for. They took her immediately while I sat still waiting. I left. As a business owner myself I felt completely disrespected and overlooked simply because of the level of service I hold myself and my employees to. I will NEVER be returning to Tara’s again.
