This was my first time in the salon since about 2008. Recently I have been hearing very good things about Hott Nails from my coworkers and so I decided to give it another shot. I’m so glad that I did! My gel pedicure was very enjoyable and the staff were very friendly. I had a nice conversation with the gentleman who did the pedicure and I could tell he was genuinely interested in the things we talked about- it was nice to see someone who cares about their customers. The pedicure was very relaxing and my feet and toes look great! I will definitely be going back!

I came here a few times & liked this place & even brought my daughter who is 7 to get her nails painted. Although this time I brought both of my children and soon as I walked in Michael asked if I had an appointment & I told him I didn’t. He still accepted me & asked, “what did I need done?“ I told him I needed a fill & two nails redid. He said he didn’t understand so I showed him my fingers. He told me to wash my hands initially which I never was asked that before. I always wash my hands and am clean and none of the other women had to wash their hands initially coming in. As he was doing my nails, he said something to the lady doing nails next to him something about my kids sitting on their new couch. It was in their language but you can tell the lady laughed it off & said they were fine. He then told me if I can not bring them the next time so other clients can come in & sit. I understood that but I didn’t have issues prior bringing them & I was already on edge just hoping to get my nails done cause my son has adhd & my kids actually cooperated in public lol I just felt offended cause another lady came in shortly with her daughters who were probably 12 or 13 & it felt like my kids were in the way since I was told to not bring them. This was around 4:00p & shop wasn’t as busy. I was looking forward to keep seeing Michael cause he does a great job with nails but I think I’ll try a Black owned salon & do my own nails every so often for now on. My friend also mentioned something she didn’t like at first here but I paid it no mind. It’s just best for me to go where I will be treated as a customer who is willing to pay & tip.

I asked him to only trim a bit. He decided to use the nail filer and file down my nail to my finger. He also wasnt patient with me when my fingers wouldn’t cooperate he was then more rough with my fingers. When he went to file down my nail AGAIN, he cut 4 of my fingers. He also put stuff with glitter on. But I never said that I wanted glitter, I will not be coming back to this place ever again.
