Ask for Kelly. She does absolutely amazing work on just about any type of hair. She shares her before-and-afters on Instagram because her work is so good, it deserves to be advertised!!

I rarely take the time to post a poor review but...Here’s My Story..I Decided that I wanted Eyelashes so I started researching online to make a selection. I came across ILashRX, LLC in Fleming Island and I booked an online appointment for what I thought was 1/16/18 @ 10am. I also had to add a Visa to hold the appointment. No big deal right???... . I had no intention of Not Showing. I show up for my appointment at 9:55am on that day. I had a really hard time finding the Salon because it wasn’t called ILashRX but was called Evelyn Salon & Day Spa. Anyways I walk in and check in with a lady up front and state that I have a 10am eyelash appointment. She advised to have a seat that someone will be with me shortly. I sit in the reception area from 9:55am-10:35am with no other contact. I get up and go back up to the girl that checked me in and tell her that I have to get back to work and that I can no longer wait. She said I am so sorry Tamaira Chesley is pregnant and might be in labor. I advised that is okay just please do not charge my Visa and that I was leaving. She advised they wouldn’t. Someone should have called Tamaira Chesley and advised that she had a client their waiting. The Staff should have immediately contacted The Technician and advised that you have a 10:00am Customer Here instead of letting them sit for 40 minutes I received a text the next day on 1/17/18 at 9:35am advising that my appointment is the same day at 10:00am. I work at our St Augustine Location so there is no way that I could be in Fleming Island for an Appointment so this must be a scheduling error. I immediately contacted Tamaira Chesley and left a detailed message on her voicemail. I followed up with a text advising of the above. She stated that the girls mentioned that I came in yesterday but my appointment was today. About that same time, I get a system generated text that stated “Tamaira Chesley at Evelyn Salon & Day Spa Received Your Payment of $123.05” I WAS FURIOUS considering all the above that had transpired in the past 48 Hours. Especially the fact that she advised that she has a 24 hour cancelation policy and acknowledged that she knew that I was at the Salon yesterday (for 40 min waiting) and I didn’t receive a call from her or her staff. At this point I decided to contact the owner of the Evelyn Salon & Day Spa and spoke with Evelyn. She was very pleasant on the phone and I explained what had happened. She stated that Tamaira Chesley which is the Owner of ILashRX, LLC is a Subcontractor and unfortunately, she cannot help. I completely disagree. The Visa Transaction was processed by Evelyn Salon & Day Spa. She did advise for me to call Tamaira Chesley direct that she would be fair considering the circumstances. I took her advice and did just that……….. I did not receive a return call from her. I have left messages for her and the only contact I’ve had has been by via text message. To say that I”M SPEECHLESS IS PUTTING IT MILDLY!!!!!. With being a Business Owner Myself I wanted to reach out to all Parties involved before I Posted this review. I know I would want the opportunity to know the facts and resolve the issue at hand. A bad impression goes a long way especially in our line of business. In a Service Driven Industry the lack of Professionalism shown was Shocking. This definitely was an eye opening experience for me. I have been in situations where a customer isn’t happy for whatever reason. I did whatever it took to win them over and made the situation right including writing off hundreds sometimes thousands to meet in the middle as far as a customer’s satisfaction. “The customer is always right” …..Right???.. Or you at least make them feel better about the circumstances. You always want a Customer to have a long lasting Positive Impression of your Staff and your Facility. Whether it is directly or indirectly it is a Reflection of you and your Business. I really hope the $123.05 (for services not rendered) was worth what could have been a potential long-term Client.
