I wandered in for my first visit here and was hoping for a walk-in appointment because I only had one contact left and also needed a checkup. I was immediately welcomed by the staff and I asked about walk-ins. She said they usually could fit me in if there was a cancellation, but that a key piece of equipment had broken down, and they had to reschedule everyone. I explained my plight and an Optometrist asked me if I knew what my prescription was. Luckily I knew what is was and he comes back with two free samples, not asking anything in return! I was blown away, especially because I had never been there, didn't have an appointment, and it was my day off so I was not clean-cut at all. I think he expected me to leave but my short experience with all of them was so great, I insisted on making an appointment for an exam ASAP.
Bottom line: This office is a perfect example of how all offices should operate. Go here and you won't regret it.

The staff here was amazing. From the second I walked in the door they started to make me feel comfortable and helped me understand the process it takes to get your eyes checked and whatnot. The very nice lady that took me back to start the process was extremely friendly and explained everything that she was doing during the first testing process which brought peace of mind to me. Then when I was brought into the Dr's office I was explained the next step in the process. When the Dr. walked in I felt like he was family by the way he treated me and he was honest and straight up with different choices I had. He made me laugh and it was honestly a fun experience. In the end he was able to correct my sight far beyond what I thought was possible. Once I moved to the last faze which was picking out frames and what not, the lady that helped me spent about an hour or more with me making sure I was 100% comfortable and satisfied with what I chose and she put absolutely no pressure on me for taking so much time! I would highly recommend these guys/gals and I will be a life customer for sure!

Enjoyed a 20-year relationship of professional service and great selection with Sierra Optical. Moved from the area and was miserable with botched orders and so-so service in big city. Making a four-hour round trip drive just to enjoy again a group of people who are not only professional but friendly and get the job done right.

Very professional and thorough eye exam. Staff were great in helping me pick out a fame that looked fantastic on me. I am very satisfied with the service I received at Sierra Optometry and will return there next time i need eye care.
