Changed rating after second visit. Weird atmosphere around new owner. Average quality of the work, always rushing everyone around her and complaining about everything. Made me feel guilty she couldn’t take the gel off too quick. Like it’s my fault. Then did new coat so thin and uneven, so I want to change it immediately after I got them done. Definitely not the experience worth to pay for. They can make even beautiful nails look ugly.

Update: I have been coming to Soak Nails every 3 weeks to get my nails done since my previous review. I absolutely love the work that they do! Everyone on the staff is amazing and Linda, the woman at the front desk, is totally on top of things and incredibly friendly. I highly recommend that you call ahead for an appointment as they do get very busy on the weekends. I will definitely continue coming to Soak Nails! Old review: First time visiting and it was a great experience! They saw me right away. Their service was fantastic! The manicure and gel poish selection is huge and my nails look freaking awesome!

BEWARE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!! These reviews mostly predate the current owners/management!Thats why this review makes me sad to write. This was one of the best nail salons I've ever been to. I have been a loyal regular for years. I loved my nail technician Danae and the owner's Kim and Young. They earned my loyalty by remembering my name, treating me with kindness and respect and offering a superior service and experience. Yes it's a little pricier than other salons but it's important to like where you are going to spend hours of your life and hundreds of dollars so I felt fortunate to have found them. BUT BEWARE: Soak Nails is now under new ownership and literally none of the above things matter to the current owner. They are disorganized and constantly messing up appointments ( even for regulars who repeatedly get the same service) they are rude and confrontational when they are confronted with their own mistake and they have never once made me feel like they cared about my business. And above all else, they have cheapened the entire experience that made it worthwhile to pay a little more. With a million nail salons in this town, you'd think they'd value a regular and happy customer a little more. But they don't and I can tell you from experience, this place is NOT worth your money. I'm going to miss my girl Danae, she is truly great and she deserves better management. Luckily for me, there are actually a million other salons in this town and I'm off to find one worthy of my loyal business.

Kim told me over the phone that they do acrylics. I came in to get my fill and a pedicure and once they had already finished on my feet the nail girl starts doing regular gel to my nails. I asked her what she's doing and then she explains to me they don't even offer acrylic. I tell them I don't want it and I need to leave so I can go get what I need. This woman Kim gets in my face and starts screaming at me and making threats. Never been more scared for my life than I was in that moment. Dont go to this place if you're looking for a relaxing time.
