No Professional Masseuse.
This place is not even worth 1 star.
All the 5 starts reviews appear very odd. Out of 63 reviews just 2 are under 4 stars.
Based on the level of experience of the "therapists" I find it very hard to believe that there are so many EXTREMELY happy customers.
I just recently moved to Modesto. I have a massage every month and not knowing the area I relied on the web. Based on the reviews, I booked a 90 min Royal massage at The Body Spa. I wish I didn't: I waisted 90 min of my time and $85.00
At the front desk I have been provided with all the info on how things work here, and even on how to communicate with the masseuse because they don't speak much English. So far so good.
The so called "therapist" was a nice older lady, but I'm confident that she is - not - a masseuse. She worked on my body in the same way that a backer works on the dough used to make bread.
She was incredibly rushed. Never had a rushed massage. The massage should be slow, this lady seemed to be running a marathon! Other than that, when placing her hands on my body, she pushed her weight on it. This made the bed shake every time. This has nothing to do with the pressure applied for the massage. She pushed when putting her hands on my body, but almost didn't apply any pressure when massaging, even though I told her to do it harder.
During the 90 min I hoped that I could have relaxed at least 5 min! But no way of relaxing while someone is shaking you instead of massaging. By the way I'm 5'2" 123 pounds. It's not difficult to get to my muscles/nerves.
At the entrance it is instructed to leave $5 if not happy, $10 for a " meh" and so on. Based on my experience, even $5 would have been a really good tip! However I left $10...
***I definitely won't be back and I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND IT***
There are several other places in town. I'll be happy to try those. Hopefully I'll find a professional.

I was visiting the Modesto area on a vacation. Great and professional staff. Great Deep Tissue massage. I highly recommend this place. David my body appreciates you. Thanks a million 😀😀😀

A great place loved my massage by Annie and a wonderful facial by owner,Fred is the bomb ,Very professional and humble people !!!

Have been here a few times now, and gotten both hour long and 90 minute massages. The 90 minute combination package is the best in my opinion, and I felt amazing afterwards. Will definitely be a regular visitor here.
