UPDATE: Removed nails and found nail fungus. NEVER had it before. They don't clean their tools. The craftsmanship is horrible and the service is awful. My gel polished nails began to chip after one week. I work an office job- so no this is not from using my hands too much. I called to see what they can do and they said they don't speak English. Called back and they told me it is my problem. Do not go here. They run a business in a community (mainly Black) but don't respect the people in it- who keep them in business. side note: When I went in to get my nails done I noticed they were closing in a half hour. So I asked if they had time. They told me they did. As the lady was finishing up, I noticed unpolished portions of my nails and cuticles that she didn't clip- and mentioned it to her. Her response to me was- next time I should come earlier (in a reprimanding tone). As if poor craftsmanship and poor service is acceptable and to be expected after a certain hour. I wonder if white clients or clients in another neighborhood would receive this service with this level of unprofessionalism?

I love this place, they are friendly, nice clean, and cheap. The prices are greats and they are never too busy that you have to wait. Just one thing I don’t like, is how they do my eyebrows. The last time I got my eyebrows done here, the lady rushed and hurt me and wasn’t gentle.

Ever since I moved here in 2015, I have been going to Happy Nails (this is the name on rhe bldg.). The husband and wife (who are Managers) are Very good (and fast) at doing nails, and the other ladies are thorough at pedicures. I always have a manicure prior to having gel polish (no nail tips...my natural nails only). They are very accomodating for special requests, and the salon is very comfortable inside. Last thing: there is Free Parking in the back of the bldg. You have to make a left right past the gas station, then another quick left to get to the back of the bldg.
