would leave 0 stars if it was an option. my friend & i came in for a fill-in. the nail tech lead us over to her station & started looking at my friends nails. she then started telling her that she needed a full set but couldn’t give her an explanation as to why. she kept saying “they come off so easy” & then proceeded to painfully rip them off her fingers. (they did not come off easily.) after that, she started clipping her nails & cut her skin & proceeded to put NAIL GLUE on her open cut, while she was bleeding. she got up & we decided to leave because of the poor service & bad attitude that she had. will not return!

I'll never go back, professionalism is horrible. They put 2 people in front of me after I spoke up and asked you all know I'm getting nails done to, right? They told me yes but continued to put two people in front of me. I paid for my toenails and left! No sorry or anything!

@MonicaCostello I have been a customer at OBI Nails since 2004. I was actually in the salon today, when you were there. When someone gets a pedicure, they are not afforded the luxury of having a nail technician sit and wait for them to be done so they can begin their manicure/fill in/full set. The techs must wait on other customers. When someone gets done with their pedicure and is brought out front, they are seated and as soon as a tech is free, that person who had a pedi but is also waiting for a mani, is then serviced. I don't think that is too much to ask of a customer as OBI is a very busy salon, with a ton of repeat customers, who understand the policies of this salon. Sorry you feel you were not serviced as quickly as you feel you should have been, but from what I saw today, you were in a hurry and expected to be put in front of other customers who were being serviced while you were getting a pedi in the other room. I don't see how that would be fair to the rest of us.

I got SNS for the first time here.. not where I usually go, but BC I was with a friend I decided to try it.. they didn’t last a week! I’ve had shellac last longer!!! Yes! I work in a factory! I wear gloves all day! So when I went back a couple days later to have them fixed..I was basically takes down on BC I worked in a factory.. and was told he “didn’t have time” to keep fixing my nails! Really after two to three hours of sitting there!? Really?? He also told me if I came back he wouldn’t do anything but a full set so they last.. I believe it is my choice what I want done to my nails!! I will never spend my money there again!!!

I came here for the first time tonight. I was receiving a pedicure. The gentleman who was doing my pedicure was quiet but he did an excellent job. A younger male employee walked in and started speaking to my tech in their language-- no problem for me at all. I was looking at my phone at the time anyway. I happened to look up at him & make eye contact and he blurts out, "Oh, we're talking funny and you don't like it???" I said, "Not at all!" and tried to smile at him and he walked away. I was a little flabbergasted. Strange to be a new customer and be treated like that. 4 stairs for quiet but good tech. 3 stars for awkward, unnecessary interaction.
