The manicure and pedicure were both average. My polish job was great. The massage chair was the highlight of my visit. The specialty pedicure is more of a body scrub, since they scrub/mud your legs and not the feet. The paragon is worth it, but the rest feel free to skip.

I'm giving 2 stars I haven't even had a complete service yet. They wanted me to put my feet in the basin before they had cleaned it. There was still skin and nails left from the last person. I had to ask them to clean the tub and when I did they finally brought out a bag to put over the tub. Service improved drastically afterwards. The lady that is working on my feet now is very nice and professional and keeps going out of her way to show me how clean all of her tools are. This lady will surely get a tip the other one I had before will not! Tech gets 5 stars. Manager gets 2.

Pedicure was great, and the massage chairs were super fancy... But then I moved over to get my nails done... I chose the "dip" with a small tip.... WORST JOB EVER! I don't think the lady had ever been taught how to actually use the product she was working with... it's like she just said "screw it, I'll just do it anyway." My nails look horrific! I could have done a better job with my left hand... Day two and already peeling up around the cuticles, nails are bumpy and rigid, (no I didn't "touch something") and the shape... I asked for square but it's like they actually get wider at the end... And the ends aren't even straight... Now I can't say the entire salon is bad, because I did like my pedi... But even as I was looking at my nails in disgust, they just said $70, and didn't even offer to ask what was wrong or if they could fix anything... I was in a hurry and had to go to work... Like most salons they had told me at the beginning that it would be 45, but then separated my mani from my pedi taking two hours, so I didn't really have time to stay and argue with them, and I was too upset to act calmly at that moment... I'd go back and ask them to fix it, but don't really trust any salon that would let me walk out that way to begin with...

Please not visit this establishment. I went in with a few of my black friends (I'm white) and I was the last out of 5 in the store and they saw me first, while not paying attention to my friends while I was getting a manicure. Two white women came in after us and they were see immediately in a separate section of the store. It was the most blatant form of racism I have seen in a while. Please do not frequent this establishment.

Romies deserves 10 stars! Their manicure are on par with everyone else. Their Baby's Butt Pedicure deserves an olympic medal. They obviously know this because they recently cleared out almost all their manicure desks and replaced them with total body massage chairs for pedicures and they sit on the side and do a manicure if you want to ass one on. Don't get me wrong, manicures are good, but pedicures are awesome! My sister in law dragged me to some upscale private salon that cost twice as much for half the service with fancy white people technicians - they were awful and burned my toe with a file. You can keep your money, skip fancy and privacy, go to Romies!
