Had an overall unpleasant experience at the store. My first visit at this location will most likely be my last. I work hard for the money that I earn and to enter a department store of this low caliber and be patronized is absolutely ludicrous. I simply asked a store representative on the upper level if I could take a garment that I like downstairs while I continue to shop. Her reply was, "Yes, there's cameras everywhere." Whyever she felt the need to say that to me implies that she suspected I needed to be watched as I shop. Unbelievable. Yes I did feel profiled. So as I bring my shopping experience to close with my two items I was very well aware that one of them was not on sale. Not only was the cashier not at the register (took about two minutes for her to show up), but she also looked at the price of the item I had and looked at me and said this is not on sale. I did not come in the store to purchase items only on sale. My reply to her remark was, "Yes, I know. I saw the price and I'm very well aware of that." I sure hope upper-level management sees this review because I work too hard for the money I earn to go into a store... any store... EspeciaLLY JCPenney... and feel profiled as if I could not afford to buy what I came to purchase, or to buy anything at all. This is so sad. It is unacceptable from any body on any level at any place I choose to shop.

I am fairly new to JCPenney @ the Fashion Square Mall and find myself alwys returning and finding great sales on top quality mdse. The employees are very pleasant and helpful also.

Love this store. Love the merchandise and especially love the value with sales and coupons it's unbelievable!
