I visited with my mother and we both had our eyebrows threaded which is totally different than waxing and hurts a tad bit, I'm guessing you get used to it or at least that's what I've been told. Facility was clean staff was courteous and welcoming and prices were Fair. I will definitely be back to today k nails and recommend others go here as well.

My nails have huge bumps. I went in for a full set and glitter tips... my tips lump up massively and she told me it was cuz I wanted polish on it... but no other place has had a problem like this before. My friends nails looked like a kid painted her nails... and just for us to get 1 full set and painting it tools 2 hours. NEVER GO!

This place was hot mess honey!! I normally go to Emily's Nail Shop but I figured I would give Todays K Nails a try since they are closer to my home and its always good to have a back up nail tech. Upon entry, the place was very nice and clean and the people were very nice and they seated me quickly. The lady handed me the list of pedicures which was all listed at $35 and when I ask her how much was the regular pedi she told me that it was $22.00 but the regular is not good for my feet. I told her lets do the regular because she was treating me as if I had never been to a nail shop before thinking that I would automatically pick from the expensive list. We proceed to do the regular pedi and the lady did a great job on my toes but she dug into the side of my toenail until it was tender and days later it still hurts. The head nail tech who sits in seat number 1, closer to the door, started on my nails and the way she applied the acrylic had me a bit skeptical however she got the job done. Another thing that made me skeptical was when the lady next to me was getting the wax paraffin, the tech rolled the bagged hot wax up and down the womans' legs as if it was doing something and after the wax dried she stuck her foot in it. (This tickled me because it was obvious that they didn't have a clue). She filed my nails but the tips was not filed evenly and one nail differed in size from the others and when told her about she corrected it to the best of her ability but not to my satisfaction. She goes on to apply the color which is gel black and she coated the nails twice and cured them a million times and the paint was still see thru. Finally, she ask if I wanted a design, priced at $5.00 for two nails I said sure (note: This was a trial run and I wanted to see what they had to offer). She scribbled some lines on my nails and called it art and asked if it was ok and I told her "HELL NO. You can just wipe that right on off." I paid $50.00 for the entire visit and I was very disappointed because I could have received better service and quality for a lower price at Emilys. I give this visit half of a star and that is only because the lady did great on my pedi. Maybe I will try to a different nail tech ore just never go back. I hope this helps someone. I have been going here for many years (15 to be exact) and for the most part I have been very pleased with the service that I have received. I would recommend Tina or Julie for your nails and Nikki for your pedicure. The lead tech (can't think of her name at this moment) does OK most times. (She sits in the very first chair in the shop. I have tried other places but I always seem to come back to these ladies. Take some earbuds because they will often times get to having conversations with one another in their native language and it can get very loud!!! Their rating from me would range between 3-4 stars. The one thing I don't like is that they only want to do gel nail polish. They will do regular polish but they really push gel nail polish......just though you should know that bit of information.

Most of the lady's in there dont know what they are doing or either they just dont care about the product they put out......if u can go somewhere eles than u might want to do that
