REVIEWS

I started going to this place because it was highly recommended by my cousin who has been a long time client of Lisa. Due to my cousins recommendation my mother and I started coming here. My mother goes more frequently than I do but now that the weather is getting warmer I went to go get another pedicure from them. I have been to this place a total of 3 times (including today’s visit). If I could give ZERO stars I would!!!! I will not take anything away from Lisa because she does great nails. However, you will not OVERCHARGE ME! My mother surprised my 9 year old and paid for her to get a manicure and pedicure with gel nail polish since she had made the honor roll all year. So I told my mother to make us an appointment for today (4/29/18). So I show up to my appointment and Lisa tells me that she wasn’t aware I was getting anything done. I told her my mother made the appointment! So she had the lady that sits behind her take care of me. I told them I wanted a pedicure. So I asked them how much would a pedicure be with gel polish. Lisa said $45. I said for a basic $25 pedicure? Lisa then stated that gel polish is $20 extra! I can get a Sally Hansen Gel Kit for $10 from Target as that’s what I have been using during the winter time for my home pedicures until the weather breaks! So Lisa and I get into it because I told her I came a few weeks ago with my mother and with my eyebrows included and the gel on my toes I paid no more than $45. I told her the fees for gel polish is EXCESSIVE! So then I show her the brochure with the prices that she had given my mother last week when my mom purchased the gift certificate for my daughter. It stated that gel polish was an extra $5 which I am use to because the Nail Salons closer to my house charge between $5-$10 extra for gel polish. NOT $20 extra! Then she says that’s an old brochure. So I ask why would you pass out an old brochure if you know you went up on your prices that’s false advertisement. So Lisa then goes to the front desk to get a “menu” which was a book of prices that they had written in with a marker. So I told Lisa to tell my nail tech I no longer want gel polish. Then Lisa tells me since I am no longer getting gel polish I must pay an extra $5 for them to take off the gel polish I previously had. I was livid and told them that was absurd that I have to pay an additional fee for gel polish that I GOT FROM THEIR NAIL SALON! So the manager steps in and tries to explain the fees. I told him I didn’t want to hear that because they are over charging people excessive fees and they know it and I stated to him if I have to pay a fee for them to take off gel polish that they put on or if I have to pay $45 for a BASIC pedicure and gel polish the nail tech WOULD NOT GET A TIP! So the managers wife comes out and steps in and said I wouldn’t be charged any additional fees today because she didn’t want me to continue arguing with her staff as well as loose a customer. I told her I wasn’t arguing with her staff, however, the past two times I have came in it seemed like the fees fluctuate! I told her if you give your clients a price list which I held up and you’re telling me you charge $15 more than what this price list is saying something is wrong and I will not be patronizing this shop any longer. She told me in the further a gel/shellac manicure and basic pedicure would be $59! Totally absurd! I told them I would NOT be returning. Yes Lisa does great nails, it’s a clean establishment but when you are not consistent with fees and pricing to me they are getting over on their customers which is sad. I really liked this establishment because they were clean and friendly but today’s service was the absolute worse and I should’ve read these reviews before I ever started coming here! Having high prices like that like they are located at the Galleria at Tysons II! They are in College Park by Ikea (STOP IT)! Then today’s service was RUSHED! Totally unacceptable! They don’t have to worry about me EVERY stepping foot in there again!

Kelly did my gel fill-in and Eddie did my Pedicure. Service was fast, neat and very courteous. Despite the negative reviews I read I thought I would give them a try since they're in the same area as my Wax place. I'm glad I did. I now have another place to get my nails and toes done if I can't make it to my regular tech.

Worst 45 dollars I ever spent. I got a dip manicure, only thing nice about it was the wax they put your hands in. Nails were bulky and fell off after 2 days. NEVER GOING AGAIN.

Dirty and rude. Lady talked on the phone while doing my eyebrows. Just crappy place

First time in this place, first time getting Gel manicure and first time getting my eyebrows done by someone else (other than my self). I was taken care of by Lisa who did both my manicure and my eyebrows. She was the best, quick (without feeling rushed), gentle (I usually leave with painful finger tips from manicures but this time no pain at all) and really neat (my nails look absolutely amazing). I am extremely please by her work and will definitely come back and ask for her. I am not into arched or shapely brows, I only wanted them to look clean and neat, no one EVER seemed to understand this and that is why I never had them done by anybody. However, Lisa seemed so understanding that for the first time in my life I entrusted someone with my eye brows. She did a phenomenal job and i have never been more happy with a beauty related service than this time around. I m itching to go back and get my feet done...Just make sure to bring cash for tip, the workers prefer cash, I didn't so I included it in my credit card transaction but she was very understanding and didn't make me feel bad or anything...The only CONS to this place is that they didn't seem like they had a menu to pick from or maybe I wasn't handed one?! They were extremely busy but still acted very professionally and said hi as soon as i walked in.
