Just visited for the first time ever after growing up around here my whole life! I was not disappointed. I called to make an appointment and they squeezed me in, even with a full day. I had Shay, who was very gentle, kind, and helpful. Everything was clean and sterile. My nails are beautiful, and she took her time on them. Very good price for what you get. All of the employees were very welcoming as well. By far one of the best nail experiences I have ever had. I will be returning. :)

Brought my mother for her birthday & they were able to get us an apt. The evening before & they just over all did an amazing job

Jax did a fantastic job. I went in for my first gel manicure, and it looks spectacular. Shay did a fantastic job. I highly recommend going to Jax for all your nail needs!

This salon is pretty good. They are super clean, they give you your own personal file and buffer for $1 extra. The ladies are very friendly and client oriented. Its best to make an appointment before you go. I've done this both times and had little to no overlap. The complaints that I do have are how they build their nails. I've now been serviced by two ladies, one for a full set and one for a fill. The full set was great, a little uneven with the almond but they're only human. The fill fell short. When filling the nails, all of the lifting wasn't properly filed before new acrylic application. The base of the nail near the cuticle is super thick and mountain like on the majority of my nails. Some have a smooth transition like they're supposed to. Not a bad place but has room for improvement.

I love this place for many reasons. First off if you wear gel and are in a hurry, do not go here. I left a set on for 5 fills and my nails had grown under my tips This saloon not only spent quite a bit of time soaking off the set of tips, they were also able to preserve my real nail underneath the tips, and then do an acrylic overlay on my own nails. Faye is my nail tech and is very sweet and very talented. Shes quite the artist and I plan on putting her to the test this week for Valentines Day nails. Everyone is really friendly, professional, and they get the job done. I recommend this salon over any other saloon on the West Side.
