Sad to say this is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. There was only one tech and she answered her loud phone on speaker about 8 times during our visit. Many of the nail polishes looked old and crusty. The water in my foot bath was cold and she used the same exfoliating stone on me and my neighbor. To top it all off the tech started doing my nails after I had already waited an hour then stopped completely and did the lady next to me leaving me to wait in the cold water again.

I love coming to Nails Emporium. My stepmom has been coming for over 10 years. They are always willing to accommodate us. My nails always look fabulous. They take care and give very long massages!

They rub your legs for so long! It is amazing how much time they spend. It really allows me to relax.

I went to Nails Emporium with my bestie for a little pampering on Sunday, 3/31/13. Without a doubt, the worst nail salon I've ever been to. When we walked in the place was small, dark, dirty and smelled really bad (someone's food). I had a hard time picking out my colors because it was so dark. My friend and I almost left, but figured, well we're here... might as well see how it goes. First mistake! If your gut is telling you no, do yourself a favor and listen to it! The massage chairs are old and beat up, but they do a good job. I will admit that the massage portion of my pedicure was very thorough, however the next day I noticed 2 or 3 pretty good sized bruises on my leg, and let me tell you... they HURT! Now, I don't think that should be part of the experience should it? The technician that worked on me, who was the owner, was extremely rude. She answered her phone several times while she was working on me, and just basically acted like I was interrupting her day or something. My friend wasn't told when she made the appointment that they didn't accept CC payment, so we both had to go to an ATM to get cash. On top of that, they wanted to charge us $70! Are you kidding me? They ended up charging us $60, and we figured with the thoroughness of the massage... ok. Of course that was before the bruises started showing up. Now, if you think any of this was bad, here is the kicker...... My friend and I both had the shellac/gel manicures done. The place is so small that it had to be done while we were in the massage chairs. While my nails turned out very nice looking, my friend's were not turning out well. Her technician had to redo 2 of her nails while we were there. When my friend got home she noticed her nails were smudged & uneven, and her toes looked bad too. I told her, for the price we paid, you should definitely call them. She spoke to the owner (who had worked on my nails), and the owner was rude but said she could come in and get them fixed, but it had to be early because she didn't work late. My friend left work early yesterday to go in. The owner was extremely rude to her, was rough while fixing her manicure, to the point my friend actually had to say "Ouch!". Then, she had the nerve to tell my friend that it was her fault her nails were messed up, that she hadn't put her hands in dryer correctly. Excuse me, but aren't they the "professionals"? Shouldn't they be the ones to make sure the dryer is being used correctly? For a place that is in a prime location in Los Gatos and charges a premium for their services, I expected a whole lot more. I will NEVER go back here again, unless it is to give the owner a piece of my mind. Absolutely the WORST experience I have EVER had.
