I like this nail salon but what I don't like is that they never have the nails always uneven and match like ones thinner and the other chuck bit other then that there nice and respectful.

DO NOT GO TO WENDY'S NAILS On a Telegraph and Passons in Pico Rivera. I went in for a manicure and to have my natural nails french tipped. The manicurist asked me if I wanted gel and I said, no. She then proceeded to tell the woman who's nails she was doing at the time that I must not know what gel is. I explained to her that I knew what gel was but that it cost more and I didn't want it. After they cut my long natural nails too short and filed them croocked they refused to fix it.

I would never go to this Nail salon again. I went in today after work to get my nails manicured and to add a french tip. I grew my nails out specifically to have them french tipped. When I asked for a manicure one of the manicurists immediately asked me if I wanted gel. I told her no and that I only wanted a manicure and. french tips. She then proceeded to tell the woman who's nails she was manicure at the time that I must not know what gel is. I then replied that I knew what gel was and that it cost more money and I reaffirmed what I wanted. She had another manicurist start cutting my nails. My nails are naturally long and she cut them down to the tip of my finger. When I said they were too short in comparison she switched with the woman who was trying to sell me the gel. She then began filling down even more of the nail with vigor and left them crooked. She asked me if I liked them and I told her that I did not and that the other woman had cut them too short and that they were crooked. She then looked at them and said that if I didn't like it they didn't have to do it. I looked at her and said, "I am the customer. You asked me if I liked them and I said, 'No.' You can still fix them." She then pointed to the sign that read, "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." She then said, "I'm sorry, my friend but I can not work with you. You think they are crooked. I don't think so. I can not do for you." Wow. What happened to the customer is always right. I could not believe that acting happened to me. I left in disbelief and went to Jenny's Nails on Slauson instead. I would never go back to Wendy's Nails even if they apologized.

I've been going here for years and i love this place. They owner syndey is very nice..Its funny how i read the reviews below... i was actually there when an incident happened like the 2 below... and for starters the customer was rude as hell when she came in. Giving attitude when asked if she wanted gel. She was stuck up and i remember syndey telling me she probably doesnt know what im saying since syndey doesnt speak well english. The lady gave attitude again saying she knows exactly what that is and she wasnt dumb she didnt want it. At the point alot of us in the salon looked at the lady for being so rude. Of course Syndey was rude back with the right to refuse service sign..she ended up waiting 45 mins for her ride outside lolol .. but we didn't need that kind of customer in our salon anyways.. moral of the story, treat people how u want to be treated.
