REVIEWS

I agree with everyone who reviewed this nail salon as a one star. I wanted to quickly get some eyelash extensions. Since I believe in wearing a mask my eyes and lashes are the areas to dress up. I never received eyelash extensions before which I informed the technician. After she told me there was no samples I can review to know which size, anyway I put so much trust in her experience. After telling her I wanted them to be thin layer and spread out she made them thick. Also, obviously she put too much glue. I’ve been trying to take them off for three days now following the proper procedures. I’m losing my natural eyelashes. After the first 24 hours I could see the thickness of the glue on the eyelashes. This was a horrible first experience and now I have to try to grow my eyelashes back. Another complaint would be that they not respecting social distancing and wearing a mask at all times, which is very essential for me. I think it’s disrespectful for a professional not to wear a mask the whole entire time. And the owner who rang me up did not wear a mask at all. It’s my fault because my daughter told me not to go to this salon because of her experience with a manicure a year ago. I won’t go back, she won’t go back ,and maybe you shouldn’t go or go back.

I visited this shop BEFORE I read the reviews; big mistake. Had I read the reviews, I would have known better than to waste my time and money. I patronized this business expecting to receive a pedicure and had the following experience: 1. Pushy owner who tried to force me to choose colors from the 'no chip' selection 2. Nice enough technician, but not skilled in filing and shaping; she left many ragged edges and misshapen toenails 3. Questionable cleanliness in a cluttered environment teeming with gnats swarming all over 4. Lack of regard for my complaint and lack of respect ('you people') When I entered the shop, I was greeted by who I now realize was the owner who insisted that they would bring me the no chip colors. Well, since I don't like the loud and extra bright shades offered in the no chip selection especially not for the fall, I informed the tech that I would choose from the few bottles that were on a dusty shelf on the wall. The tech was nice, but did a poor job of filing and shaping my toenails. I had to continuously request that she use new tools and that she spray other items, all this as gnats swarmed around her head and in front of my face. I spent 12-15 minutes allowing the polish to dry, however, even after the tech swabbed my toes with oil and provided the little plastic bags to protect my feet, as I re-examined my toes that evening I couldn't believe how badly the polish looked THE DAY OF services. As the next day was Thanksgiving, I returned AS SOON as they opened Friday morning and requested to speak with the owner to request a refund. To be fair, she did offer to correct the issue, however, it was her ATTITUDE toward my complaint and the complaints of others that made me refuse the offer and again request a refund. I informed her that I recently read the reviews posted online regarding the poor service and she waved them away as if they meant nothing to her business. The owner was condescending, dismissive, and, in my honest opinion, racis...biased. She began by saying 'you people' always want to try to get your money back. She then told me that I should have gotten the no chip polish because the other kind doesn't last. WRONG. When serviced by a skilled tech using QUALITY products I have received pedicures with regular polish that have lasted AT LEAST a month. I suggested that she examine the reviews, and, for the good of her business, make the necessary changes, once again, she was dismissive and behaved as if she was above considering the concerns of the PEOPLE WHO KEEP HER IN BUSINESS. To the owner: You may respond with the same tired comments that continue to paint your customers as the problem rather than accept the responsibility of providing a better quality product, and more training for your nail techs, but it would behoove you to consider the fact that the people who come through your door have choices and your response to concerns/complaints make the difference between a onetime patron and a repeat customer. Treating ALL groups of people with respect and dignity is a REQUIREMENT when operating a public business. DISSATISFIED/DISRESPECTED CUSTOMERS = NO MORE BUSINESS FOR YOU.

Horrible service! They don’t know got to do pedicures. Messed up my whole entire big toe. They cut the nail too far down, and hurt me. After I told them not to. Messed up the polish and had to redo 3 times. plus the lady had an attitude after I brought this to her attention. Ohh and also they don’t wear masks.

Generational Nails is definitely the place to go. You're greeted with excellence and treated with professionalism and kindness. I have been to many over the years and this establishment will be my forever.

The environment was nice with all the plants and music, but they didn't sanitize none of their tools. And thats not good. How hard is it to place your tools in a tub of alcohol??????? No bueno.
