I spent hundred ninety dollars (plus 20$ tip) in an acrylic extension nails and today I just took off them and I just found that I have a fungus in one nail. I’m so disappointed. I just called and the manager is even there. Nobody with who really speak and have a solution. I thought it was a serious and good place but far away just seen the contrary. Can’t even believe it!

I came to NYC very excited to meet Jenny and receive some bomb, "luxury" nails. Despite the other negative reviews on here, I stayed positive, considering I had put down a $50 deposit. What I recieved was worth maybe $50, not the $200 I paid. My friend and I both put down deposits, and showed up on time. Not only was Jenny 30 minutes late (which was fine), she made it very apparent she was not interested in speaking much. She told us off the bat that 150 would only get us full sets, but agreed to do some acrylic marbling and inlay for 180 (which she said was usually 200, then claimed 250 by the end of our service). She was clearly annoyed that we weren't wanting to spend more than 200. Her daughter, who yelled at me about how I was holding my hand, very painfully filed my nails and put tips on. Being a nail tech myself, I knew that she didn't have much experience because of how hard she was filing. She made me feel like an idiot. I couldn't believe I paid all that money to not even have jenny do my full service. This is honestly one of the worst sets I have ever recieved. EXTREMELY uneven, lumpy, and not even reaching close to my cuticle. I wanted to reach over to use the dremel and file it myself. My friend had to ask her to smooth them even more. She got acrylic everywhere, it was flaking off our skin for days. You can see where on every single nail, the top coat doesn't even cover the entire nail because of how sloppily it was applied. She claimed she was hungry the entire time and was obvioisly in a hurry. She cut 6/10 of my cuticles, and sliced my friend very badly with the hand file. It had blood on it but she still used it on me without sanitizing. Being a nail tech, I know cutting someone shouldn't be a common occurrence. She blamed it on me for being stiff, but that simply does not cause someone to cut you SIX TIMES. She had us draped over the table and my hand was hanging over the edge. Being a petite girl and with how painfully she was filing, no wonder I was stiff. Trust me. Save your money and get a 25$ set around the corner. The artistry is there, but the passion and execution are not. One day Jenny will be humbled, but until then it's apparent that she doesn't give a damn unless you're a celebrity or have some kind of platform to slander her. 200$ that I'll never get back.

I came here for a manicure on New Year’s Eve and they almost ruined my nails. I asked for a manicure and the manager told me there is only one person who could do it. I showed her what I wanted, she started filing my nails and i stopped her to show her again the shape i wanted. She didn’t even look at my nails while she was filing! The shape was crazy and not unified. I stopped her and told the man who appeared to be the manager and he said to me “oh wow what are you going to do?” I couldn’t believe it. I walked out enraged. I should have followed my gut. I’ve heard several people talk about their poor treatment of patrons and negative experiences. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who cares about their natural nails.
