I have read some of the reviews about Summer's Salon, so I was a little nervous about my getting my pedicure, that a friend had bought me. When we got there the front desk person afford us wine, yes please. There is nothing better than being pampered and drinking wine. On top of that it was one of the best pedicures I have had in a long time. Thanks LADIES!

Very nice and clean facility. My cuticles were cut and pushed up perfectly. Other salons charge for this service but never do as well. I have appointments for my daughter and sisters. Love it!

I purchased a livingsocial voucher for a nail service at Summer's Salon on September 7, 2012. I tried redeeming the nail service many times. The nail salon would repeatedly offer me appointment times to schedule for, but then they would ask if I had a livingsocial voucher, when I responded "yes, I have a voucher" each time they claimed they were "actually" booked and would not allow me to schedule. I tried scheduling on several occasions over the course of 4 months for different days of the week but they were not interested in providing the service I paid for. The manager in the nail salon, Katie Murray, was rude and she admitted that they are reluctant to honor their vouchers at this point (now January 5th, 2013) since the voucher is expiring a week from now, she referred me to Livingsocial for a refund, I also requested that the owner of the salon also call me to discuss the matter. I called Livingsocial and spoke to a supervisor who told me that they are also not willing to refund my money or put my money toward another voucher. I was told by the manager at Summer's Salon, Katie Murray, that the owner, Summer, would return my call; she never did. This Salon is practicing unethicallly. They took my funds without providing a service as advertised. I am a very unhappy consumer and would not recommend anyone use Livingsocial as a middle man for purchasing products or services as they are unwilling to defend their customers or do what is right in the event that a company/salon takes one of their customer's money without providing a product/service.

I wish I would've read these reviews before purchasing my Living Social deal back in March. I also called many times (10+?) to try to schedule an appointment and either no one picked up the phone, someone answered and put me on hold for such a long time I ended up hanging up, I left a message and no one called me back, called and someone answered but said they were closed and couldn't see the scheduling system (after I said I had a voucher), then finally called again the last time and their answering machine had a long-winded message about "If you have a LS voucher, then we only have these appointments available..." which didn't work for me since I am at work all week during, go figure, business hours. I was thinking about using the actual value of my voucher ($35) to get something done there, but after my experience and reading everyone's review below, I don't think they're worth my patronage. What a sad way to run a business. PS. This is the first time in my life I write a public review about any business...

I rarely write reviews, but I can honestly say this was the WORST customer service experience of my life! If you have purchased a coupon deal you will not be treated well! I made an appointment with a LivingSocial coupon at 9:30 on a Saturday. I went to the salon at 9:30 and there were no employees there, but another customer who told me the person working had left to move her car. When the employee returned it took her a few minutes to acknowledge me. She said my name was not on the schedule, but to wait a few minutes to figure the situation out. I said that was fine, but was going to walk to the ATM to ensure I had cash for the tip. When I returned there were two more employees, who were with other customers. The women told me they couldn't help because I wasn't on the schedule. I asked if my coupon could be refunded since this was the fault of the employee I spoke to on the phone. She told me no because I paid LivingSocial and had given them no money. A moment later she offered to give me the services, but I had plans at 10:45 and it was already 9:50. When I said there wouldn't be time because of my other plans. Her response was, "Well I can give you a pedicure or you walk out." As I was saying that did not seem fair since I paid for a coupon offering both a manicure and a pedicure someone else came into the shop asking her to move her car. Instead of telling either of us to wait until the other situation was resolved, she walked away from me without saying anything. At this point it was clear I would not be served and left. I have never been treated so poorly at a business. I am appalled they would schedule 9:30 appointments and not have their manicurists arrive until 9:45. I am confused as to why the women working would have to leave twice in 25 minutes to mover her car. I am angry the shop made a mistake and would only fix it if I got a portion of what I paid for or was late to plans I made around the appointment. I cannot recommend anyone go to a salon that cares so little about customer service
