My experience at this salon has been nothing but wonderful. My hairstylist, Shonda Gibson, provides one of the best services in the Denton area. She works with all hair types and treats her clients with care and respect. I have naturally thick kinky hair, so it usually takes more time and effort for maintenance. However, Shonda was always happy to work with my hair, and every time I was very pleased with the results. I honestly felt pampered. In addition, all of the other hairstylists were very friendly and provided a warm atmosphere. I would definitely recommend anyone to Shonda and this salon.

I would not give one star. On my first visit to this salon the stylist was told that she had to be out of the store in 20 minutes because she could not stay late to finish my hair. This conveniently happened right after I was brought my purse while under the dryer with conditon on to pay $180 for my daughter and my fee. I had to leave the salon with wet hair, in the cold and drive to the stylists home (a total stranger with my child at 9:30 at night). After calling the corporate office to complain, I received a call on a Saturday night from Kevin, the store manager with an apology, and was told he would be calling back on Monday after speaking with the manager that was on duty and the stylist and to offer a gift card. Two Monday's have passed and I have yet to hear back from anyone. After calling the corporate office again I was told that all they could do was send another email to the store manager. This truly explains a lot about the lack of professionalism and respect I received and for other customers. If the store management does not follow through why would the other managers when they know that there are no consequences for their actions. I do not feel valued as a customer and do not understand how I went to a salon, and am told to leave with wet unfinished hair and to go to a complete strangers home. I definetly will not be dealim with JcPenny in any way anymore. Wonder if lack of value for customers is a reason why so many stores are going out of business.

The hair style that I️ thought I was getting was not what I received, then when I asked her to do another style she informed that it would be another charge, her name is shonda (spell check) then she had an attitude because I️ didn’t like it extremely unprofessional, I️ would not recommend her at all.

Kaylee is awesome! She does an amazing job, and I always leave overly happy with what she's done. Tell her what you want and trust that she'll go above and beyond your expectations. She is a little higher priced than the other ladies at the salon, but I only go to her! She knows what she's doing.

My husband told the lady that he wanted a trim and she basically shaved it all off. When he went to pay the lady was rude.
