This place is actually really cute. The courtyard is appealing with all the greenery. Very clean, friendly staff. The bar AND restaurant in the hotel are closed on Sunday and Monday, which was a major disappointment, but if you mention to the surrounding restaurants that you're a guest in one of the hotels, they'll give you 10% off your mediocre-at-best meal. The complimentary breakfast selection is bland. The pool was very clean, but the hot-tub was a little murky. It's an older hotel, but definitely one of the better options in the town; especially if you're on a budget.

I usually don't complain about hotels. On the plus side the cleaning staff does do what they can to keep it as clean as possible, and staff tries to be accommodating. It is decently priced, plenty of hot water, good shower pressure, lots of TV channels. There is also a decent restaurant and bar on site. On the downside, the heating and air conditioning systems in the rooms are old and most don't seem to work. The rooms would probably be a better temperature naturally if arboretum didn't make the whole hotel warm up a bit more than usual. Breakfast was OK, not great but not terrible, better than it looked at first glance, although don't count on it being available on the weekends. This not a horrible place, but clearly OLD/borderline rundown, in serious need of updates. The indoor pool was OK and was informed it had been recently refinished...but why fix the pool before the AC units??? Would not be my first choice if needed in the future, but if it was only thing available due to others being booked, it's tolerable enough to stay again.

It is a comfortable place with an excellently priced restaurant. However, No working pool nor functioning sauna. Contradictory to what they advertise online. Only one over-worked waitress. So expect service to be slow. Update, nearly a year and a half later and tried this place again. told they are remodeling, again. No updates can be spotted. Their pool and sauna still of action.

This could be a really nice hotel. It has a really cool pool and hot tub area. You can tell that at one point it used to be a fine establishment. Unfortunately it is in some serious need of maintenance and has pretty poor service. The hot tub was broken as well as the coffee pot in our room. The breakfast was nothing but yogurt, cold cereal and some dried out pastries. When I called in to reserve a room they told us the restaurant would still be open when we got there. When we arrived (5 minutes later) they told us they had randomly decided to close the restaurant early. On the plus side, the rooms were clean.

The manager guy there was awesome showed me around the place. It was so freaking cool they have like a garden in slide of the hotel and indoor pool which is so awesome even tho I didn't get to use it. Also clean and friendly staff. They don't harass you at breakfast asking a bunch of questions about which guest you are so you can just enjoy waking up in peace.
