Would give 0 stars if possible. No other customers in the nail salon at around 4:30 pm, it was rushed and it showed!! Incredibly poor nail polish selection available Nail polish was old and outdated pedi cure was the worst experience ever!! She was finished with both my daughter and I in 20 min and then shoved out the door but not before being charged $57 for a very poorly done job!!!! Polish had bubbles in it probably from being expired also my daughter and i had nail polish all over our toes. Will NOT be returning!!!! Should have just left when we noticed the poor selection but didn’t want to be too judgmental.

I would give zero stars if possible for my experience at LA Nails in the White Sands Mall. I've been to at least ten different nail salons in my life, and have never had a bad experience before. Two people were working when I arrived, and I figured the wait wouldn't be more than 30 minutes because only one person was ahead of me. One worker left after I'd been there for 40 minutes, but I wasn't about to leave after waiting that long. After waiting an hour, the one girl working asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted a manicure with french tips (I don't like acrylics and have gotten this many times before). She told me in broken English something about my nails are going to chip unless I get acrylics. I told her again, I didn't want acrylics, and she said, "They chip easily!" I told her that I didn't care, that's what I came for and after waiting an hour already I wasn't just going to leave or get something I didn't want. Twenty minutes later she finally sat me down to start my manicure (after 80 minutes of waiting). I had some nail polish still on my nails, and she made me sit there and remove it myself! No other salon has done that before. She proceeded with the manicure and it was the worst I've ever had, and more expensive than most I've had. She filed my nails - which I had grown out fairly long - almost to nothing, but with still-ragged edges. The white part of the french tip was very thin and didn't cover the entire natural tips of my nails. Not only all of this, but the final clear coat she put on has bubbles all over it! I just came home from this terrible place, but after all that I'm still considering removing the polish and doing a plain color myself - it would look better anyway. Experiences like this one are making me hate living in Alamogordo, and I just moved here five months ago.
I will NEVER go back to this place, and will tell everyone I know not to go to LA Nails!
