Visited this place on Friday, March 23, 2018. My friend and I went together. They didn’t have enough staff and we had to wait an hour before getting our mani/pedi. They guy seamed upset I only wanted the basic and not any higher package. He tried to finish up with me super fast. He even missed getting the nail polish completely on my nail but I asked him fix it. I wasn’t put under a dryer for my feet and hands to dry. We will not come here again. We friend got sheliac on her nails and they next day it was already coming off. Not good

I've been going here off and on for years. I left the state for a couple of years and came back a year ago. They have changed Management are still a little up scale will serve drinks and put the tub covers in for the pedicures which is important to me. I had a couple of their nail techs that aren't the best but I have them fix it if I don't like it and they will. The pedicures are always great!

I rarely get my nails done, so when I do, it’s a treat for me. Modern Nails isn’t a very nice looking salon, the nail technician did the absolute bare minimum job. I would prefer someone do a good job, rather than rush through my service and miss a bunch of spots. Overall a disappointing way to spend $35.

So the nail tech asked for a picture of the way I wanted my nails. Once she viewed the picture she said she would be able to do it with my natural nails as an overlay hombre. She then proceeded to completely cut my REAL NAILS DOWN TO THE SKIN. I asked her to stop and to let me show her the picture again but she clipped two more nails before I moved my hand. I asked her why she would cut my nails so short when clearly the picture was coffin nails she completely ignored me and rolled her eyes and repeatedly made comments while still sitting in front of me in Vietnamese about the situation not knowing my girlfriend understands. She was very rude and unapologetic. She never took responsibility even when she realized she left me with no option but to wear fake tips which required me to soak off the overlay and pay more for shellac since she clearly couldn't do the hombre. Mind you it is 710pm so most nail shops are closed or closing and Worst experience I've ever had at any nail shop and I have lived here in Houston my entire life and have visited various establishments but this was by far awful.
