HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Got this done two days ago and it’s completely come off. WOULD NOT GIVE A REFUND. THIS IS THE GEL! Took them two tries to get it on then this happened a day later. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I was SO excited to get a mani/pedi done after 4 months because of covid and GL is right next to where we just moved so i figured it’d be the perfect place to try out and make my regular spot. My pedicure was great, but my set of acrylics were being done at the same time - which I understand everyone in the beauty industry is hustling right now after being closed for so long but it was incredibly uncomfortable and the results were unpleasant and painful. I always get almond shaped nails and I like them a tad pointy and I got shellac because I am a hairstylist so I don’t want my nails to chip easily. On their website it said an acrylic set is $25. it says absolutely nothing about charging extra for shape (which i understand if you need to, but advertise that or simply just inform me before the service is being done) so that was an extra $10. shellac is an extra ) $10 - which i expected. They charged me $55. I wasn’t even able to really look at my nails because they seemed like they were rushing me out of the door after I just paid $110 for a pedi/mani and then tipped both of them $20 a piece for their work. As soon as I got to my car I was able to see how terrible they were. Uneven acrylic laying, only 3/4 of my nail being covered with acrylic, i was burnt 6x with the drill, and half of these nails aren’t to my cuticle. I messaged them and they called me within 10 minutes and in my message I was very kind considering my experience. I asked for a refund of the $55 for the manicure and the woman I talked to refused because the service had already been done and I shouldn’t have paid for it if I didn’t like it. She then offered $10 off my fill or I could come in tonight or later this week and get them fixed. I really just want my money back & to never step foot in there again. GL Nails pretty much shoved a bit “f you” in my face. As an independent contractor in the beauty industry myself .. this is NOT how you handle these kinds of situations and you absolutely know when your work is not acceptable. I will not be returning. You guys could have just given me my money back instead of gaining more bad publicity.

I’m giving the salon a four star rating; however, I am giving the technician (Ben) a ten star rating. I first had Ben during Coast Guard week and even though they were busy Ben made me feel like I was the only client he had. Just left there today, again had an amazing experience. Not sure how but it was even better then my first time. Ben is the best nail technician I have ever had! Thanks Ben!!

Loved this place! My daughter is 9 and they did acrylic nails and they looked awesome! I got best pedicure ever thank you! We will b back soon!!
