I've been going to this location for the last 4 years so I've become a regular and have always had a great experience and result with my nails. The staff if always courteous and welcoming. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning further. It's been some time since my last visit but the new, or possibly only front desk girl was unspeakably rude. She complained to the technicians while they were trying to work on clients and was on her phone texting while customers were trying to check out and refuse to make any form of eye contact with clients. She unfortunately seemed too young and too immature to understand proper customer service which is a shame to have a bad first impression for people coming to this salon for the first time.

This is the worst nail salon in The Woodlands. For the price they charge, you would think they are among the best but that is simply not the case. I have been here several times over the past 4 years because it is so close to my house. When the owner is there the technicians are usually better but beware if he is not around! Many of them are rude and they don't care about the quality of their work. I reluctantly went in yesterday to have gel nails removed. I asked her to soak them and remove them gently because I didn't want my natural nail destroyed. She had me soak them and then chose to use a file to remove them. She assured me that it was gentle enough to not destroy my nails. Wrong!! They are so thin they are painful and pink. She also shaped them so terribly that I had to go home and finish my own manicure. She was not particularly rude but the woman working next to her decided to join our conversation only to be rude. Don't waste your money and time here.

I want to respond to the review from Christian above mine. I saw her horrid review while looking up the phone number, and I think it's for the wrong location-- there are several locations in the same area and it's easy to click on the wrong one here on Google, but these are not owned by the same people and the salons are very different. I go to this salon at Gosling & Research about every 2-3 weeks because it is the best one. It is very clean and relaxing. There is a commercial sterilizing machine right in the middle of the salon, and the techs always used packaged tools that have been sterilized. Further, if you see bleach sitting out, it's probably because it was USED recently. That's a good indication they are cleaning often, and I see the cleaning people all the time. I have been to several nail salons in the Woodlands over the years, and I consider myself very picky. This salon is also well-ventilated. I never smell strong odors while I am there. They do a great job keeping things aired out and clean. My favorite techs are Tao and Tin for the tidiest gel manicures and pedicures. They offer complimentary water or soda, back massage chairs, and relaxing music videos. The bathroom is clean, and they have a HUGE selection of polishes-- any color you could ask for. I have never felt pressured to add upgrades, and have found this salon to be more affordable in comparison to other nearby nail salons. They are currently undergoing a renovation, and have seemingly turned off the ventilation system-- I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements soon!

Thao was amazing! Love her to pieces! I'll admit I am a picky person but I didn't have to "fix" anything one time. So nice and sweet. Very clean nail salon. I would recommend anyone to this location. -Lena Musachia

I have given them 3 chances to get my nails right with different people every time only because they are so close to my work. I went yesterday to get my hands and feet done and they messed up my hands so bad. If I'm going to pay for shellac then you better put it on right. It does not go all the way to the edge of my nails and my thumb did not dry right under the UV light and I ended up with the polish messed up. I even asked her to reach the edge several times and out my hand in again into the light like I do at other nail places and she asked me to take it out. I will never do my nails there again. I would not recommend it to anyone
