I had a very disheartened experience at Nail Avante (same as Nail Envy) today. It is my normal go to salon for almost two years but will not be going back after today. I received a sub par manicure and have had to pick gel polish off every single finger. They were so sloppy with the polish they had to file my skin to unstick the gel from my nail to my cuticle. Probably the worst manicure I have ever received. I will be finding a new salon after this experience.

I wasn't impressed, and wouldn't return.. We called ahead to make an appointment and were quoted a price of $15 for a manicure. Fine. So it's time to pay.. $30!! And they did LESS for me here than at other salons. It was just a polish change, cuticles, filing, and lotion. Plus.. the girl doing my nails said like five words to me the whole time. Other people were talking, and she was talking to them, but not me. Kind of rude. My nails do look nice, so I had to give a "Good" rating.

The quality of the service was fair at best. The real issue was that they double charged my debit card. When I called to have the monies put back into my account, "I'm so sorry. I with customer. I call you back." Then, a "Jackie" called back stating I had to bring a copy of my bank statement which in itself is super annoying. The next day, I drove 30 min with bank statement in hand. "Oh, I sorry, manager not here. We not know how to do this." Can you smell bullshit. Then, when I asked "when IS your manager going to be here?" "oh, only from 9-11". Hmm. This is what the BBB is for and the fraud department at your bank and reviews:) I will obviously not return and will continue to spread the word for others not to go as well. Shameful business practices.
