Seemed very much in a hurry to finish. Didn't get near the treatment I used to get. After she was done with me she joined the others sitting at the back of the salon taking in a language that was not American of course. Probably the last time I will go here. This used to be my favorite spot. Not anymore.

I had gone here one other time because a friend made the recommendation and it was great. My second visit was the complete opposite. This individual was so rough with the electric nail file they made small cuts on two of my fingers. My nails were completely uneven and every single one is shaped so different that they look like they don’t belong on the same hand! I went back and politely asked for it to be fixed and after filing one nail they said “there”. I was so angry I just got up and left. I know it’s a manicure and there’s bigger problems in the world, but when you’re looking to pamper yourself and spend your hard earned cash this is beyond aggravating.

Absolutely the worst $40 I have ever spent. I don't think he had done nails before, didn't do what I had asked, you can see through the gel on my nails, and they are misshapen and bumpy and not even fully covered. Choose any other salon in Amarillo. They knew I was unhappy, I said I wasn't and didn't even get an apology. Stay away.

It's a good thing I didn't write this review last night, I was so mad. I've cooled off some since then. I thought I was going to pamper myself with a manicure/pedicure. It was a disaster. The woman who gave me the pedicure didn't know what she was doing. She cut areas of the cuticle, toe nail & toe that should never be cut. Areas that can cause ingrown toenails. I never even turned on the massage chair, because I had to watch what she was doing. Then a 2nd woman thought she'd help the woman & do my fingernails at the same time. She soaked my hand in cold water, not warm. She started trimming my cuticles so far back she was almost to my knuckle. Mind you, I had already trimmed, filed, & shaped my fingernails before I went. So really all that needed to be done was exfoliation, push back cuticles as needed & polish. I explained I only like cuticles pushed back, not trimmed as it can cause infection. But she continued to trim. So I had to take over & buff out my own fingernail cuticles because she had my skin so torn & tattered from all the trimming. After the pedicure, a 3rd person, maybe the owner, decided to do my manicure. I'm expecting exfoliation via a sugar scrub & hand massage, etc. The man tells me sugar scrub makes the polish not last as long because of the oil. I'm thinking to myself that's why people wash their hands after & use alcohol or polish remover on the nails after, to remove any oils. He fed me that line because he just didn't want to do the scrub. He didn't even soak my hands/nails. All I did was wash my own hands. Then I had to remind him to push back the cuticles on the hand I didn't let the 2nd lady trim (during my pedicure). He pushed them back with his thumb nail. He then proceeded to miss areas of my nails with the base coat, the whole purpose of the base coat. He never let one coat of polish dry, before adding another. He even used my own fast dry topcoat. After sitting under the light for over 20 min my nails still weren't dry. I messed up 1 nail putting my hand back under the light, but I figured one nail...I'll fix it at home. As I was putting my purse in the car I messed up more nails. My fingernails weren't dry an hour later. I just had to give up & remove all the polish. This from a man who told me he'd done nails for 18 years. I expected better. So disappointed. Then my feet weren't even moisturized after the pedicure. No one wants dry feet. I can do my own mani/pedi better & I've never been to nail tech school. I paid & even tipped 15% to acknowledge the effort. I was too nice. I only explained at times, but never complained or raised my voice. I was kind & cordial. I wasted my money. I went from "almost pampered" to "p*ssed". I was so mad on my way home & after. Even my pedicure polish color is uneven. I'm trying to figure out how 3 people worked on me & it still ended up being an epic fail? From someone who can't afford regular manicure/pedicures, & only gets them done once or twice a year (that's sad). 2 years ago, I had the best pedicure I'd ever had here, that was not the case last night. I thought I'd do this as a late birthday treat for myself, I guess I was wrong. 😞😢

Not very happy wth service, not clean and sanitary. I paid for a wax and message peidicare and it took them about 20 minutes or less wth nail polishing.
