They turned me on to the new powder gel manicure and I can never go back! It is a little more money but my nails are so strong and there isn't a UV light used. It has also been 3 weeks and no chipping. The women were very welcoming and nice and gave me great advice. I can't wait to go back soon and get them redone!

I was late by 15 minutes for my appointment because I was caught up at home taking care of the business with my dog. I walked in and explained and she lectured me like she was my mother telling me to look at the clock and see what time it was. They did not care that I walked out, and were extremely rude. Although their gel manicure was great back in May 2016, I am never going there again. A manicure is not worth receiving terrible customer service.

I have been going to Lily's Nail for years and lately moved to the Knoxville, TN area. I have not been able to find a salon that can touch Lily's for quality, service and prices. I am extremely picky and I have always been so happy with the results. They really want you to be happy with their services and I feel they go above and beyond to ensure you walk away pleased. They are friendly, polite, and take real pride in their work. Check them out! You won't be disappointed!

I got a pedicure today at Majestic Nails. A woman named Lee did my service. I asked if they sterilize the tools and she said "yes" and took some tools out of a rectangular box unit mounted on the wall labeled "sterilization" but they were not in a paper sterilization bag (color changes when its run through the sterilization cycle, I prefer it when technicians open the pouch right in front of you so you can see for yourself what they are using on you). She used other tools, like the purple foot buffer, that I did not see come out of the sterilization unit, but I did not see where she got it from. Lee and the staff were friendly, no problem there. She didn't skimp of the leg and foot massage so that was nice, BUT I think she cut too much cuticle off. I could see red areas around my toenails where the nipping looked too aggressive. While she was painting I was a little worried since she didn't wait at all between coats. I thought it was too wet but didn't say anything because I figured she knew what she was doing. Upon closer inspection of the polish (after I left), I saw the polish didn't have a smooth finish. So in all, they were friendly, and the price is fairly low ($25 for a pedi). She gave an ample and pleasant massage. But I think the cleanliness/sterilization practices are questionable and the polish was rushed. I hope I don't have problems as a result of cuticle cutting. I'll be trying other nail salons in the area.
