I am very picky about my nails. Elegant Nails did a great job! It is hands-down the best place to go on Daniel Island. I have been to other salons on the island and wasn't impressed. If you are new to the island, go here first! You won't be disappointed. Great attention to detail.

I ended up going here because there was no wait and I had a little bit of extra time on my hands. I called ahead and asked their prices. I was told it was $35 for gel powder and a gel nail color. As soon as I got there they acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about.... I have been getting my nails done this way for YEARS. I’m very, very picky about the way I want my nails to look. I watched her through every process, and when she went to shape my nails into a coffin shape, she completely made them crooked, uneven and not in the actual shape I wanted. I asked her to fix it multiple times and it just ended up making it worse. Once it was time to do the color she told me to pick a polish. To clarify I stated I wanted a gel polish. She then told me it would be an extra $20. While I don’t think $55 for a gel full set is expensive or not a good price, I do think that she should have been honest and told me that price on the phone instead of letting me think I was paying a different amount the entire time. Once I picked out a color, she went to grab it and when she came back I knew the color was not what I had chosen. Similar, but not my choice. At this point I just wanted to get out as soon as possible. I thanked her, tipped her, and left. I will not be going back.

Absolutely terrible customer service. We called previously and were told that we did not need an appointment.... Yet waited over 45 minutes. To top it off, the staff is extremely rude. I received a pedicure and the water was cold, they refused to warm up the water. When others walked in and asked for a manicure or pedicure they pretty much ignored them. Overall, we had a bad experience here and will never be back.
