I usually get gel from wherever I go, and it lasts maybe 1 week and a few days. I live above another popular nail salon in the area but haven't been impressed. I decided to try Venus Spa Nail. It based on the other reviews, and I'm SO happy I did. 1) The nails. The staff took so much time ensuring the nails were shaped perfectly and were perfectly clean. My nail tech even suggested a nail color for me, which was a blend of two colors, and it turned out exactly how I wanted. 2) This gel manicure has lasted 2 weeks without one problem and still looks absolutely perfect. A new record for me. AND it was cheaper than other places! 3) Staff is so friendly. They took so much time making sure that I was comfortable. My nail tech wanted to talk and get to know me, and it was such a pleasant surprise. Everyone else there was just as nice and welcoming I'm so happy I found Venus Spa Nail. Highly recommend to all.

Awesome experience! It always makes me nervous when I go to a new nail place, because you really just never know how the quality will be. Venus Spa Nail really deserves every bit of 5 stars!
On first impression alone, the technicians were very friendly and the salon was spotless, and had a fresh feeling. I got the pedicure and the ""dip"" on my nails. They have the disposable plastic lining in the pedicure tubs, which always makes me feel better! The pedicure was very relaxing and she really took her time painting my toes, and always made sure I was comfortable with what she was doing.
The same care and precision was taken on my manicure. I got a French ""dip"" manicure and she took extra care to make sure I liked the shape of my nails and the amount of white tip (I don't like them really thick). I walked in without an appointment and only waited about 15 minutes (they let me sit in the massage chair and soak my feet the whole time so the wait was no big deal). The price for all of this was no more expensive than I have ever paid anywhere else.
I will 100% be back the next time I'm in Valparaiso! Thank you ladies!!

Very disappointed. I wanted a classic pedicure, I even told the technician while pointing to it on the menu. I was charged for the premium and told that's what I got.
I got a gel french manicure and I'm sure I could have done better myself. It looks so sloppy. I even told her throughout, but she didn't understand me.
I won't be back and I won't be recommending this place to anyone. Do an at home pedicure and manicure. You'll like the results better.

Best Nail Salon in Valparaiso - by far!
This nail salon is beautiful! The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and relaxing. They have pedicure chairs that will massage you into heaven while you relax and get an amazing pedicure. Their no-chip gel manicures are top quality - I go two weeks in between manicures with not one chip! People always ask if I just came from the nail salon. They always have great specials going on too - making it a great deal as well as the best quality nail services I've ever had! Did I mention they are open 7 days a week? Go now & bring a friend!
I go in every 2-3 weeks for a gel french manicure and my nails always look great! People literally stop me all the time to tell me that they love my nails and ask where I get them done! This is the best french manicure in Valparaiso!

I had guests in town and called an hour before they closed to see if they could get in 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, for pedicures or to make an appointment for the following day. Very easy to understand on the phone and very polite. They said they had time this evening and that we should come, so we did. My young daughter and her friend were very excited because they have pedicure chairs for kids. They offer a child's pedi or a polish change and give you a choice and prices before they start. Our girls were so excited to get to sit like mom! The salon is gorgeous... my guests were very impressed. Out of the four of us, two were kid pedicures, one was a classic pedicure and one a classic pedicure with shellac preformed by 3 different nail techs. They have a lot of choices for pedicures, and prices are reasonable. We were all very satisfied with the pedicures, the service and their prices. Will definitely return!
