LOL looks like I'm the only guy on this review board. I've been going to Solar for a few years now and get my eyebrows done every few months. The staff is always polite and talkative, and the owners Nikki and Nick are some of the nicest people you could meet. My Mother and Aunt stop in frequently as well and are always impressed with their service.

I’ve gone to this salon twice and the first experience was excellent! The women were absolutely lovely and gave us beautiful pedicures. We decided to come back to get gel manicures for my birthday and the woman who did my nails did an absolutely horrible job. While trimming my cuticles she nipped me 4 times! They bled a lot and hurt so bad I was holding back tears. She tried to fix them with an opened and clearly not sterile bottle of nail glue, which did basically nothing. She didn’t even clean them, except for the alcohol she used to clean my nails after the awful glue job (which obviously hurt like hell). Even after all of this she still used the wrong color (she did ask if it was the right color before painting them but I could barely understand her through her accent and because it was gel polish it had nothing more than a number on a completely white bottle). She did a very very sloppy job, flooding my already destroyed cuticles causing them to begin to peel off less than 24 hours later. The color is so sheer that you can still see my natural nails through it. I later learned that this woman is the owner of the shop. I’m really sad leaving this review as I barely ever leave bad ones but I felt this time it was necessary, I don’t want anyone else to have to pay for such awful service, especially not on their birthday!
