Visually, it seems a little run down compared to the salons across the street. I liked that I didn't have to wait, and my nails came out nice.
However, the entire time I was getting my nails done, the woman kept yanking at my arm trying to pull me closer. I had my chair pushed all the way in, and my elbows were resting on the pad I've always placed my wrists on at other places. Her chair wasnt pulled in, and she hardly had her arms even on the table, and yet she kept yanking at my arms trying to pull me closer. Right now my shoulders are physically hurting. By the time I left, my hands were nearly hanging off her side of the table and I was leaning all the way over. Not exactly relaxing.
I was also a bit concerned that I was the only one in there at 5:30 at night on a Friday. There were 5 nail techs sitting around on their phones, yelling to eachother in their language, and the one behind me was eating a box of crackers or chips for an entire hour while watching her phone.
There was no music. Nothing. Just the news looping, them talking, and the lady crunching behind me.
I would only go back if every other salon in the area was busy.
