My wife took our car in for inspection, was told 2 of the brakes were bad and quoted $2k to replace them. OUTRAGEOUS. Took it to 2 other places for second and third opinions, and both said brakes were fine and quoted $800 for the same repair should we ever need it.
I mentioned the quote to a few locals and they asked “was it George’s?” Apparently this is not an isolated incident. Would NEVER go here again.

Recently my daughter was scheduled to drive to North Carlina, by herself, to see her fiance in the Marines. On a whim, i decided to drive her car (2014 honda civic coupe) to the store 4days before she was set to leave. Immediately I noticed a noise coming from the front tire. When I spoke with her, she did not know what I was talking about, nor did she hear the noise. I told her she would not be able to take the car to North Carolina in that condition, and the likely hood of getting it in anywhere was slim to none. She was so upset. We called George Automotive and explained the situation. They were attentive to our needs and knew how important this trip was to our daughter. They took the car in right away and sure enough it was the wheel baring. They were able to get it fixed in time and were so timely with updates and the costs. So thankful for George Automotive! P.S. our daughter had a safe trip to NC :)

I live near the Danville location so super convenient for general maintenance and small fixes. Staff are super cool and easy to work with. Was able to get my jeep in for a tire patch in less than a hour without scheduling. Some services are a bit pricey, but the quality of work the team provides is top notch.

I would give 6 stars if I could. I am a traveling nurse, and realized something was off with my car. I took it to Geroge auto based on the good reviews, and was very impressed. The location is down an alley, but the shop is very modern and welcoming. Wifi, coffee and snacks if waiting. They diagnosed my car with a major repair that I feared was coming, and showed me photos to support the work needed. It would not have been safe to drive the 200 miles back and forth home that I had to make weekly. They got the parts rushed and got it completed in a day, getting me to work on time the next day and able to drive home safely the next. They even picked us up and took us to the shop when we couldn't get an Uber. You can trust them with any work on your car.
